Research professor and best-selling author Dr Brené Brown challenges us to show up, step into the arena and answer the call to courage on her latest Netflix hit The Call to Courage.

I did just that last week at our village library sharing my journey that lead me to specialise in wellbeing and empowerment. I introduced tools that we can all use to flourish in life. I loved every minute of it and I’m celebrating the two new clients booked into 1:1 coaching session with me.

I became fully aware of my thoughts in the morning. Instead of thinking about what could go wrong, I started thinking about what could go right.

I understood that by replaying the problems of the past I would only create more of them. Instead, I started to wake up with these two words “Thank you”.

And one day at a time, my heart began to be filled with joy instead of worry.

I started seeing solutions instead of problems. My anxiety soon turned into excitement and I began to take small steps despite the fear. Celebrating each small win along the way.

So my message for you today is this… Don’t let your thoughts control your life. Stay in awareness and continue to offset your negative thoughts with thoughts of gratitude.
