Perfect Day Exercise

This exercise is designed to help you get clear on what your perfect working day looks like.

Print it off so that you have the questions to hand without needing to be looking at a laptop. With these questions printed off, sit comfortably in your sacred space and have your journal to hand.

Take and take a few deep breaths to ground yourself and then complete the questions below, journaling out your answers.

For each question, allow yourself time. Don’t put pressure on yourself to come up with an answer straight away.

Remember that no one needs to see your answers.

This is for your eyes only.

These are your desires for your life right now, you needn’t share them with anyone.

Imagine waking up where you are free to have and do whatever you want within your life.

Anything you want is open and available to you.

There is nothing off limits.

You don’t have to do anything.

You are entirely free to live your day as you choose.

You have infinite resources at your fingertips.

What relationship do you have with your team?

What kind of conversations do you have with your team?

How does having a team make you feel?

What messages or emails do you receive?

What wins do you experience?

How does that win make you feel?

How do you plan to celebrate?

What kind of impact are you having with your work?

What are you well known for?

What opportunities are available to you?

How does having these opportunities make you feel?

What does your lunch break look like?

Do you eat alone or with friends/family?

Do you eat at home or go out?

What time do you finish work?

How do you feel when you step away from your business?

What other activities do you do in your day?

What exercise do you do?

What hobbies do you have?

How do you spend your afternoon?

Who do you surround yourself with?

What kinds of conversations do you have?

How do they make you feel?

You check your online account – what is your bank balance?

How does seeing that figure make you feel?

What do you plan to spend that money on?

How will having that thing make you feel?

Imagine you go shopping – What do you pick up?

How do these things make you feel?

What do you do in the evening? Go out with friends/family? Where do you have dinner? What do you eat? What do you wear?

What conversations do you have?

Thinking about the future, what exciting plans do you have in the pipeline e.g. travel plans, plans for your career such as a big event/conference/new launch. What do you have to look forward to?
